A great read on my new Kindle,How Iowa Conquered the world,fantastic read.
Unbroken.....felt like 2 books to me, war and post war....I preferred the first part but saw the need for the second. Overall, a great tale of tough individuals, and on multiple levels an important book.
Also since I haven't posted in awhile, finished up: The Laughing Monsters by Denis Johnson, Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk, and Frank Sinatra in a Blender by Matthew McBride.
Gould's Book of Fish by Richard Flanagan......so far, just into it but, astounding work.....
I'm currently preparing a lean six-sigma green belt certification, so I'm reading boring stuff on the way to work.
To change my mind on the way back, I'm reading the few bits of Discworld I hadn't read yet... currently halfway through Men At Arms.
The 48 laws of power by Robert Greene. My wife is making me read it, I found that a bit ironic...
Finished Gould's Book of Fish by Richard Flanagan......as has been said....this is a modern masterpiece of literature.....

The autobiography of the guns and roses bassist. Fascinating read. I'm an obsessive guns and roses fan, and have found this book to be the most objectively written and honest account of events that ripped the original lineup apart.
