So here's the picture,I wear a size 10 shoe or boot and gloves in a mens size Large work just fine for me.........My 15 year old son however wears a size 13 shoe or boot and his hands...Well lets just say a mens large glove does not even come close to fitting.He carrys a tuba like it's a trumpet in the marching band!Where do I find gloves to fit my boy?We're talking work gloves ones for daily use and fancy stuff for the band.Can anybody help?I'm not having much luck with Google,thanks!:shrug:

25 years as a glove designer, marketer and manufacturer - work gloves, mainly, and lots of white stretch nylon for funerals, marching bands, military, inspection, etc. I also wear XL or XXL gloves. Nuisance, really.
Wells Lamont used to offer high quality precurved leather gloves with seams to the outside. Seams out creates a generous, comfortable fit on the inside when using cutting dies for standard L or XL. Check their web site or, better yet, call and plead to customer service.
Marching band gloves are screwed since the late 1980's by which time most of the production left the USA. Fechheimer Uniforms used to buy more quantity and sizes than anyone else; trying calling them directly and pleading or begging. All else failing, find some large stretch nylon gloves and cut the fingertips off. That failing, buy some stretch nylon and cut hand-shaped pieces, sew two together and turn seams in; a two-pice pattern is easy to make and stretch nylon is very forgiving.
If you DO find something that works, get four dozen pairs.
