yea we do a heap of vacilatin in these neck of the woods. Like when Ned got a new pig and it didn't get along with his sheep. They be always fighting so he had to eat one or the other. He be vacilatin on that until he decide to eat the sheep.
I like vacillate. Actually, I am rather partial to words ending in "ate": pontificate, for example, or masticate, exacerbate, ruminate, sublimate, facilitate, accumulate, circumambulate, scholasticate, expatiate, ....
But yeah, vacillate is a good one alright - it's one of those ones that makes the user sound intelligent no matter what the context. :)
