We have a similar thing goes on every year out near the farm. It get's held at a place called Jondaryan at the 'Jondaryan Woolshed'. It's the remains of what was once a huge Merino Sheep station on the Darling Downs. They have antique machinery, tools, an old school house fully equipped for the 1800's child, Damper and Billy tea, Stockwhip making and cracking demo's. I love going when I get the chance, but haven't been in a while.
Good to see similar things from other countries.

We have the Conestoga Museum, that does something similar to this too. They have a Black Smith forge they fire up, Tin Smith, potter, broom maker, a ram pump running, hit & miss engines. In the museum they have an area setup like a barber shop, books, Native American artifacts, farming models, a real Conestoga Wagon.
