I am sure it would be fun but I can promise it will be cold and miserable after a couple hours. Take it from a guy that flies in helicopters for a living, that's a LONG day.

Yea, for sure it could be cold and miserable in an unpressurized aircraft on that route even in August. Still I doubt a flight in the aircraft type on the same route will ever be done again. To get to the UK and back they are risking 50% of the airworthy Lancasters left in the world. Relatively speaking airworthy P-51s and P-38s are a dime a dozen.Quote:
