I have walked off twice in my life. Many years ago with low paying temp jobs. So long ago and short term they have disappeared from my resume! :rofl2: Many years of being the sole wage earner for my family kept me from walking off a few times. Not all bad in hind sight. Everyone has a bad day now and then! My last job I decided I was going to quit and it took me a year before I found a proper fit and gave my 2 week notice. I am glad I had the patience. I have been there 15+ years now. My present job requires a 2 week notice by my contract or I loose my severance pay. My father told me that work became much easier once he didn't have to. I am to a point in my life that I can see his thinking. I can tell my employer to go to hell tomorrow morning and I would have to cut back on my lifestyle but I would be all right. That is a good feeling!
