Well - I don't discount aliens scouting out this planet, for any number of reasons.
The one that has stuck with me for 20 years was when a work buddy and I happened to see some Piranha's being fed in a downtown Aquarium shop window, there were about 10 of them in the tank and the owner dumped 4 goldfish into the tank and the carnage was pretty extreme. I remember as he was watching, he said in all seriousness, this will be exactly what it will be like for us when the aliens take over.

I'm not doubting that you saw something, but as a friend of mine pointed out to me, nowadays with the ubiquitous cell phone camera, not to mention other survaliance gizmos, if there were any extra terrestrials , they would have been spotted. Makes sense to me.

15 years ago I was living in a house with a large fenced in back yard,,,, my son was 2 years old,,,,, the day was raining terribly,,, I heard a larger lightening burst & I went to the back patio window to see if anything might have gotten hit,,,,, I see on the ground, in the middle of the yard, multicolor flashing lights coming from some unknown small object ,,, I stare at it & cannot rationalize what it could be,,,,, I think that the lightening had knocked something out of the sky,,,, I want to see what it is as after 5 minutes of watching it, the curiosity got the best of me,,,, I slide open the door & start to step out,,,, I freeze, as something inside me says, "Maybe it's not from here?" So I walk back inside & grab my 1911,,,, Then I open the door & start out again,,,, Then I freeze again,, & then I say, "If they see you with a gun, then they will consider you as a hostile threat & zap your a$$." So I ponder this decision to approach it, I say to myself, "&%^$ it, I'm not going to let them take me without a fight." So I approach the flashing lights with my 1911,,,,,,,,,,,
It was my son's toy cellphone that he left in the yard the day before during a Bar-B-Que,,, the rain had activated it & it was half buried in the grass.
I think my reaction to situation was triggered by a chemical imbalance due to the Bar-B-Que sauce from the day before.
I find it rather interesting that humans can consider themselves the only living things in the universe. We need hard facts and proof of anything different. Yet on any Sunday, millions upon millions will go to church and pray to something they can not even fathom let alone prove. Who is to say these 2 entities are not 1 in the same ? Either way, why should they make contact with us? Humans have something that separates us from all other living creature, free will. And look what we have done with it. What if Earth is a petri dish and they put us here ? Are they watching to see if any good grows in the dish so they can transplant it to another planet where we would consider it heaven ? Will they come one day and spray to kill all the weeds ? What if they are just like cowboys and keep coming around to check the herd without spooking it :<0)
I have seen an unexplainable thing in the sky and so I know how you feel. WHAT was THAT ! I don't think we are the only living beings in the universe and so maybe what we saw was another life form flying over. Or perhaps it's just another top secret experimental aircraft being tested right under our nose. It's nothing to fear, just something to wonder about.

yup. They often fly hundreds of thousands of miles to doodle in our corn fields too. They is coming, them aliens they is coming! They are going to do weird medical experiments and anal probing.
