My son was promoted today to E6

We are very proud of our son who was promoted today to SSgt. (E6) at Parris Island, SC.
He has gave the Marine Corps almost 10 years of his life and he deserves it.

Congratulations I know you are Proud it take one hell of a Marine to be a Hat there are 3 name that I will remember til the day I die and those are the names of my D.I.'s.

Thanks everyone. He is talking about switching over to the CWO program after his D.I. duty is over. In that program he will go to school and work up to an officer.

I was always told, if you job gets easier when you gain rank, your doing something wrong. I love my Corps, however, I wouldn't trade my family for anything. Semper Fi.
