I think I found perfection

So, with Leeds University's Modern Languages Ball tonight, I think I've just found perfection. A nice long hot shower, resulting in the need to wipe the mist off the bathroom mirror and the opportunity to put black tie on, with complete dinner suit, pleated dress shirt, dress studs, personalised cufflinks, bow tie and half brogues. And of course there's the bit that adds that finesse that completes the preparation - my first BBS SR shave, without so much as a nick or any razor burn. If that's a sign of the night to come, it's going to be a good one!

I forget, being a student, there is of course a stiff vodka lemonade involved in all of this!

Knowing my form at formal dinners, with free wine on the table, I'll be able to give a report up to the point where we leave the venue for the cocktail bar we're going to!
