Cool. A new update of the "granddaddy" of first-person-shooters!" Fun! :-)
At least this one looks like it could be fun. The gore in this game is unbelievably detailed though. I wouldn't mind my 10 year old daughter playing doom2 if it took her fancy. This game otoh is waaaaay too gorey.
I tried Doom 3, but that was just horrible. The story was ok, but the lighting much too dark, and not enough action.
I still consider Doom2 to be the best shootemup of all time.
And its made by bethesda. Lets hope, and I doubt it will, that it doesn't go the way of duke nukem. That was a disappointment.
That game was the one that made me decide to get a PC in addition to my Commodore Amiga, which was by far the most advanced computer of its time, true multitasking and you could roam around, multiple windows open and get in places with that machine that simply had no idea what machine you were using.
Doom changed it all, then DukeNukem3D "I'm reading to kick ass or chew bubble-gum, and I'm all outta gum!"...wonder if it will be released on Steam? That will be a blast!
@cosperryan - the last DukeNukem....10 years for that abomination...couldn't agree more!
Duke Nukem was born dead to begin with. It was 90s era tech that was redeveloped way too many times.
Doom2 gave me countless hours of fun and stress relief.
My wife liked it as well, though she played in God mode.
She did enjoy this trailer, so I guess a new computer will not meet with too much resistance :)
I have a PS4 but luckily it will be coming out for all platforms except nintendo. Thank God. Between that and Fallout 4, I won't have time to shave.
