I made it from wire (its a chain malle necklace). You wrap the wire around a rod and then cut the spring to make rings. Then you connect the rings in whatever pattern. I made this pattern up, but turns out someone made it up before me and called it a double rope. It is 22 gage wire, and 4 mm rings. A "P" will be going on the hanging area. Its made from sterling silver.

I've made chainmail before, you did a great job. Very time consuming. She'll love it
