Time will tell about this election but I do believe that history will remember Obama as one of the worst presidents of our nation. As I see it he has done nothing to bring our nation together and everything he could to weaken our nation. Each to his or her opinion. This is mine.

Trump is making his own rules, he is merely mirroring the sentiments of the masses, the masses feel connected to his message and style. He is viewed as very successful. Everyone forgets all his failures and bankruptcies.
He has the best manipulative speaking ability seen in a long time, a unique style a cross between a roughian and businessman meets hustler.
Trump does have a good chance to be the next President. Romneys speech made Trump stronger. Talk about a flip flop. Romney praised Trump during his run. I agree politics have no place on personal issues. But if you think the President has no influence on these issues you are wrong. By selecting supreme court nominees he does. There are 4 liberal and 4 conservative judges now. The next one is the tie breaker. This country is run by big business through lobbying and contributions to reelection campaigns. One way or another this has to end. Being self funding Trump is the only one who could pull this off. Trump is a threat to this good ole boys way of doing things. Look whats happening right now. These groups don't want this to end and are throwing massive amounts of money out there to stop him. Romneys speech, the media assault happened after super Tuesdays win for Trump. I think this is a desperate attempt to stop Him. At this point they would be happy to ruin the election for republicans and have Clinton win. It would mean 4 more years of business as usual for the large big money groups that have their own agenda. We will know by the end of the day if this assault was successful. interesting times indeed.Quote:

Also, folks think because he talks tough and is rich he will not be beholding to anyone. I say just the opposite. He is very beholding to all his rich associates and if elected will just do a 180 from what he is saying.

I am good with either of the two Delegate leaders at the moment on the Republican side, but some of Cruz's social views don't line up with mine and Trump seems to have stayed away from most of those...
Come Nov there is simply no chance of me voting for Bernie, Hillary, Biden, Gore, Bloomberg, or any one else they may pull out if something sticks to Hillary from the investigation...
If it isn't Cruz or Trump in Nov,, I might have to vote Libertarian as a protest vote...

I said it in the beginning and I still say it. Trump is pushing all the right buttons when it comes to how Americans feel about key issues. These being the border, jobs, and economy. The backbone of this country is tired of paying for all the other nonsense these guys argue about. And honestly I don't believe the Federal government has any business discussing let alone governing over things like abortion, gay marriage,or drug use. These are personal choices and I am all for the freedom to do as you wish. Where I have a problem is when you want me to pay for it any way shape or form. Trump has my vote because I want to send a message. I am not sheep and I would rather have peaceful change. We have to bring this country back to using the basic principles it was founded on or all hell will break loose soon enough. Trump is about protectionism. A dirty word to some but just what we need. Tariffs, the spoils of war, and if we have to fight, lets fight to win.
He is not going to get in there and flip the world over. The people he chooses to aid him in his decisions will be the big factor to his success or failure. I think as a business man he has been successful and choosing the right people for supporting roles. I hope this continues when he becomes president. Either way these are interesting times we live in to say the least.
