I often mispronounce words intentionally .. just to show folks that I'm not as smart as I think I am!
A favorite is "tostesterone" for testosterone. A few others ... Silicone valley for Silicon Valley... although I'm sure California has lots of silicone breasts, lips and butts in that valley! There's a bridge in New York called the Throgs Neck ... I usually refer to it as the "Frogs Neck!"

I had a friend that I did a lot of duck hunting with. I would always intentionally say gooses instead of geese. He eventually lost it and went off About how gooses is not a word. I just grinned and said "I know".Quote:
