I did that thing as well!

yea, me too ten times!
I did not
Yet
I have never seen our little Firehouse polling station EVER this busy, first time in 16 years I haven't driven up parked in the lot and voted within 15 minutes, including talking with the neighbor ladies that check yer ID to yer name on the rolls
The line of parked cars went down both sides of the street..
Gotta wait until later in the day to try again :(
I'm planning to rock the vote this afternoon.
I didn't vote in one presidential election and still regret it. That's why I now vote in every election, even if it's just for city council.
Did at 0900.
I did it, although I think I got a couple questions wrong.:rofl2:
,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,:roflmao
My vote was already cast 17 days ago. We also have a background check gun control and legalizing pot on the ballot in Nevada.
Yeah, my wife and I waited in line for about 45 minutes to vote at the suburban vocational school near our house. About as busy as I've ever seen it, and I've been voting there for 20 years.
Funny, though, I looked all over the electronic ballot and never could find the box for "None of the Above."
Make sure that your vote gets counted.
Republicans vote today.
Democrats vote tomorrow.
There was one person if front of me when I arrived at the poll. Apparently I hit it just right. This morning there was a twenty minute wait in line.
6.20 am this morning and there was a line out the door.
Did it 2 weeks back in early voting.
Just like all things in life, I woke up damn early and got it done!
Welcome back JohnnyCake !!!!
It took an election to shake him out of hibernation !
Yep I did my thing. Took a little notice at how it was organized this time. I never realized I didn't need to show any proof that I was the guy in the book. Just pointed my name out on the list and signed next to it. Hmmm. I could of come back 5 times with names from a phone book and the old ladies may not even notice. Not that I would attempt such a thing lol.
The thing is done as of this morning!
My town : population = 1,900. No parking spots in the lot with people circling and a waiting line at the signup station. Busiest I've ever seen.
Pete <:-}
Voted this afternoon - now just hope my dog got enough write in votes to win....
I vote early and often.
PS - Jimmy, it's good to see you are participating in Movember. Someone get that man a badge!
I read that the turnout is unprecedented in many states. Whether your candidate wins or not, a high turnout is good because having a silent majority skews the outcome every time. My American friends are half half either side of the spectrum so I decided to take a time off from posting on FB for a couple of days until the first wave of wailing and the gnashing of teeth has passed :)
Yea, I deactivated my Facebook until this blows over. It's sad when I see people I respect making really ignorant comments, or they support a criminal. :gth
0800 this day I did what I thought every thinking American should have done, I voted. I hit it lucky as to timing as I had a 10 minute wait.According to the volunteers they opened with about 350 of my farming countryside neighbors already there and waiting for their chance to be heard. (Township of about 400 homes!) I passed by later in the day and the location was full again. Nice weather for WI, 50° and little wind. Not bad for 24/7 harvest season!

I voted early last Wednesday. Just walked right in and out, no waiting. The parking lot was FULL.
All the people working the early voting outnumbered the voters 50 to 1 or more.
The wife voted this afternoon, in and out. No waiting. Most folks in our area seem to vote early.
I never peel the sticker till after the results are in. If I voted for the winner, I peel and wear it.
If not, it goes on my Thermos! :rofl2:

Kind of a strange sentiment, 'even if it's just for city council'. It seems to be pretty much the same everywhere: local elections, due to their lack of political "sex appeal" I guess, are vastly underestimated.
As an aside, being a foreigner in Finland local elections are the only elections I to vote on.
I did!

Yeah we finally voted
Our county had some really contentious races also so we had a "Yuge" turn out
Freedom rang locally for us also
CHECKED YOUR ID? That's racist!! LOL.
I voted and I can honestly say that my presidential vote meant nothing. Living in California my vote is guaranteed to be stolen from me and given to the democratic candidate. Thanks to our IDIOTIC electoral system, my individual vote is completely meaningless.
I voted third party.
Thanks John, it's been two years since I've been around SRP.
