General election, Oh, I screwed up! It was 1960 absentee while in the USN.
I was in boot camp in 2008 and did not receive the opportunity to vote. So my first was 2012. I just saw a local guy on the news whose first vote was cast in 1936! He's 102.
November 1980 for me and I have voted in every election since, including primaries and local elections.
1980 for me.
I got an I Voted sticker #8 for my hardhat! Boy that has been around for a while.
This is my first year.... I have to be honest I was not real excited about my options...[emoji53]

New South Wales state election 1973, aged 18 - voting at age 18 had just been introduced and I think that might have been the first election held in Australia under the new rules. Voting is compulsory here so there's no mileage in "I voted" boasting :)
Never . my single vote would not make any difference..
Do you think they would vote for you? :)
A single vote always makes a difference!
Look at this election. Enough single votes changed the result from what was expected.
