The problem with 21st century democracies is that the people do no longer feel represented by the established political elite. They feel betrayed by broken promises and will vote for any outsider when they come along.
I feel that is what made a lot of people vote for Mr. Trump.
I agree with more of Clinton's ideas than Trump's ideas but somehow I like Trump more. He is genuine. Mrs Clinton is fake. One example: she says she wants to change the way Wall Street works but on the other hand she rubs shoulders with the Wall Street elite. I am convinced many people who voted for Trump do not agree with what he said about women, coloured people etc. But still they voted for him because they feel he is honest. I am not saying he is but somehow he makes us feel he is. And at the moment he is the only alternative to the political and financial establishment that so many voters hate.
We need politicians that practice what they preach and if they feel compromise is inevitable they explain this in crystal clear language to the people.
