The old days.

I date back when we used the little houses and relate to the mistake made. I saw this on facebook and thought it would give everyone a good laugh. :)

Old days?

Why that's a modern convenience. I remember walking down the streets of medieval Paris and at night everyone just dumped their chamber pots out the window and that's why men wore huge hats and escorted the ladies walking on the house side of the sidewalk.

I lived at 4 places growing up that had out houses. There was no inside pluming, used a hand pump to get our water from the well then had to carry it in buckets to the house.

Cross country road travel in the forties and fifties gave people with allergies an advantage. Carry your own tp!!! Been there....

I remember our house having no running water and a coal stove.
