Used to work on carriages back in 95-96 before I went in the Navy. Going to work was like going back in time every day.
I have watched this one before. I really enjoy this type of posting. Thank you!
I was of the fortunate generation. On the way home from school were, a farrier, plumbing shop, sheet metal shop and two lumber companies with shops that a kid could walk into and watch the guys work!

Very cool. A blast from the past.

Thanks for posting this. Always a pleasure to view how they made things back in the day. If you are ever near Cardston Alberta be sure and take in the Remington Carriage Museum and the nearby Waterton Lakes National Park.

Mesmerizingly beautiful work! Such simplicity, but with so much elegance.
