Judging from the looks I would consider it Retro. Maybe vintage...........:shrug:
Many years ago when California was having power outages Doonesbury did a strip where Phil Slackmeye put up a clothesline to conserve energy (and money).

He'd gotten it up when a representative from the Home Owners Association showed up and told him had to take it down because it violated the Association's Bylaws.:gaah:
There are associations around here where it is against the rules to have a clothes line.
Some you can have one but if there are no clothes on it it has to be wound up.
I could never live in a place like that.

I turned by back and she had about 6 feet pulled off the roll.
I wrapped most of it back up but left her a foot or two.:rofl2:
I have always had the toliet paper and paper towels installed so that the new product comes over the top. Years ago I walked into the bathroom that the kids used and found that one of them had given the TP a good tug as they were finishing and the entire roll was laying on the floor. I'd just put a new roll on that morning. :gaah:
