Hemidactylus turcicus: Mediterranean house gecko. Another Florida invasive species. These guys don't pose very much threat to native wildlife because they only seem to do very well around people. Cute little sucker isn't he?

This is at the pond just up the street from me. It just stole a fish from an osprey. They'd rather do that than actually fish for themselves. Couldn't see the fish but my son caught an 8 lb bass in that tiny little pond. It's only about 8" shallower than a Ford Ranger... Long story... Not mine thankfully.
