I've spent many days running the twisties in Colorado. And one thing that makes it even more fun is no guard rails. You can always tell the flatlanders who come up to ride as they stick closer to the yellow stripe. LOL.

My grandmother used to say, " when the robins appear spring is near. " I wasn't sure if it was that way everywhere in North America or just here in Florida.
Robins in the UK are the size of a sparrow and only come out in the winter, thats why they are on Christmas cards.
When my Canadian wife visited england she saw a Robin. She was suprised and said, our robins are much bigger than that.
I heard a woman tut to her friend and said typical yank :rofl2:
They obviously didn't know that robins here are as big as a Thrush, but it was pretty funny.
We're sending you some sandhill cranes soon. We are starting to see them congregate for the northward migration. There is an IFAS field near UF where thousands of them congregate to stage for migration. About 20,000-30,000 winter here in addition to the 4-5k that live here permanently.

Sorry, had to comment on this one. What do you do if you make a mistake stamping into the Stanley Cup?
The European robin (Erithacus rubecula), known simply as the robin or robin redbreast in Ireland and Britain, is a small insectivorous passerine bird that belongs to the chat subfamily of the Old World flycatcher family (Wikepedia).
