I wonder if urine is a shark repellant. There’d be a lot of that in the water if that was me.

yikes!!!!!!
All you have to do is mix a household cleaner with chlorine and one with ammonia and you'll be treated to a chlorine gas surprise.
I still have the memory of seeing the fireball close to 100’ high lighting up the sky from my bedroom window, 5 km’s from the derailment site. And the subsequent evacuation and upheaval.
Was just shy of my 14th birthday.
I've been gassed by anhydrous ammonia, when I worked on the farm cultivating corn. Stops ya in yer tracks, drops ya to yer knee's.
Some parts of the mill still had the old MSA Chemox sets and the Navy used those on ships when I joined the Naval Reserves. I remember using those in fire fighting and damage control school. The scba gear I'm sure has replaced those now and they look so much better to use.

It is funy that any of us Old Farts are still alive.................
If you caught it quck enough you could tun off the fan ito the cab....
Imagine having your belt loosend to sit in a seat all day nd then having ablast of ammonia into the cab.
Bail out of the cab and having your pants end up around your ankles.
Along a road during "rush hour" which at that time wasn't much.
I don't know if anyone else saw that?
LOL Memories of my youth
You bet.! And its immediately. :roflmao
I got mine while swapping tanks. After getting it coupled up to the tractor, the farm boss hit the switch that opens the valve to the cultivator. I was instantly surrounded.!!
I can still see him laughing his arse off. It was kinda funny, looking back on it. Sucked at the moment.
anhydrous is nasty stuff. I worked for a guy that could not cry or at least make tears from getting sprayed. He had to use tear drops and had nasty headaches all the time.
another I know about is that the grass was dead in the ditch for 1/4 mile or so after a tank leaked.
Enjoy your corn meal!

The super sized fake candles i made...
Attachment 337686
Some may remember another member here who was with us for a short time made one of these candle things, but i took the plans and ran with it. Lol.
With the security camera system i installed this year and the fact my house has 3 lights on the front two on the back and one on each side Id say I should be safe from burglers, dont ya think. Thats not counting the Christmas lights. The rest of the houses on my block are dark. One light or mostly no lights. Much better pickings for burglers than my place.
Looks very festive Jerry!Well done.
What are the candles made from again?
I am always on the look for old plastic lawn decorations. Hate that we never kept any as things evolved. Those look nice and retro, in all the good ways.
Nice job!
I gave up on decorating for Christmas. The neighbors just bitched and bitched!

Didn’t do all of it this year the grandkids always helped after thanksgiving but they all grew up and have lives of their own so just did all the low stuff
2" PVC Pipe. Water proof light sockets glued in and the melted candle look is expanding spray foam used for insulation and filling holes. Spray paint. At the bottom i screwed PVC caps to a board to hold them. It all comes apart at the seasons end and gets bagged up and put away for next year. It was really very simple to make.
Looks good TC. All my roof lights are custom cut and hooks attached so i grab the end out of the tote and drag it across the yard. Have the wifes son get on the roof and start hooking to the gutters. Electric connections are perfect length so its exactly where it needs to be to plug in. The outlet under the eve to control it all is on a hardwired timer in the garage.
So drag it out, hook it up and plug it in. Done. The entire thing takes about 30 minutes to set up.
Damn it Roy, how the hell do you keep fixing these? And ya say your a dinosaur. Thanks my brother
One of these things is not like the other.
