Contrary to scarface's post that it requries msn messenger, you are actually given two options. After you click the download avatar button (or whatever it is), you are prompted to which way you'd like to download the jpeg. You can either download it directly or receive it via msn messenger. Why they give you that option, I have no clue. Seems pretty pointless to me.
