Talk to Rez, his wife makes jewelry Dave.
Did a beauty pair of earrings that Ruthy wears often..
Can’t speak to her availability or interest but it’s a lead.
Cool project buddy.

You just never know what people do on the side. Good to you Dave for asking here.
What kind of stones and who for?
I have done it for a hobby not for anyone else.
Another rabbit hole similar to razors........
Used to but not for a few years. too shaky!

PS. Call a local University and ask for the Art Department NOrmally there will be some teachers of jewelry.
PM sent Tim
Richard, that's some great work right there :tu
Thanks Mike, I'll bug him too lol
These are something special to me. So I figured ask the gents here I trust
Here is how those were made, there were about eight differing jewelry designs/ pieces with the basic shape...
Pancake Dies
These are cut with a hand operated Jewelers' saw. Like a coping saw and at an angle to the plate so the wide is at the bottom of the whole outline. Do some research of the term and you too can make a simple pancake die. I used 1/16th thick mild steel and it cut about 50 pieces or so out of 1/32" brass. Hard brass not soft!
Bolsters anyone???

Man, great thread!
I've done some silver work, for a few projects one of those was making inlays for a Klas Tornblom 7 day set not yet done. Wish I could post a pick but haven't set up my computer and phone won't..
Dang Richard! That's a classy piece. I never knew but it makes sense that you have that under your belt.
Definitely another rabbit hole like Tim said.
I've wanted to do some very intricate metal work with razor scales, will take more practice for sure. Many of the designs stray from tradition though...
Mike....Er....You HAVE done some rather intricate work on scales.
Just saying...;)
