That's the problem with repair stuff. When you have some severe weather event they are sold out after the fact.
Speaking of not being prepared. In 1989 it snowed on Christmas Eve day here.bIt was the first time since 1898 it had snowed on that day. I remember because it was funny how the numbers worked out. We lived in the country so we had a well. It froze the pump and the water tank outside the detached garage and shop building. I was roofing at that time and the guy I worked for came over with his torch down torch and thawed it out. Fortunately no pipes burst but we were definitely not prepared for that in Florida. I'm not talking flurries, it was several inches. Nothing like what you get up north but in Florida that was a major thing. There were no plows or salt trucks. I think they did actually have some rock trucks from the county come around with a spreader on the back in some places but mostly it was just waiting until the roads thawed out.
