Idaho ~ SSS law in effect

Finally learned enough to get the camera where I wanted it, had to download a Router Signal App for my phone to learn that the Logs kill the signal very effectively

Where I wanted to mount the camera had a 3% signal nicely protected in a corner on the porch, had to drop it under a support log for the roof and I am getting a 93% signal. Not quite as protected from the weather but still under cover at least

I learned I probably need a Signal Booster LOL

Gave me a good shot of the pole barn too that corridor between the House and Barn should catch quite a few animals also and there are motion detector security lights there too

Shan wants me to add the same to the back porch, and a Tilt and Pan for inside the house

My BiL and I were pretty happy with the Quality of the Vid it is a 4k stream and the single pics we enlarged held up really well and didn't get very grainy at all

Also, a smart hacker can block the IP address or even send a false image to the IP address.

Unless you are monitoring 24/7, and have a reactionary response team ready at all times, they're pretty much useless for protective purposes. They are however a novelty and their images could, and I emphasize the word could, alert you to someone trying to gain access to your house. Wait, are you home?

    Be safe my friends!
Up here almost every theft has been busted out with Security Cameras and our Local Social Media Pages on Facebook
Public outing has really helped with this stuff, the Vids and Pics hitting the rounds on FB have resulted in many returns of the items and not a few arrests

For the minimal prices on these things I am adding a few more

The best camera security(casinos and airports etc) relies on having people pass thru choke points where they ensure a decent face shot of the person. Grainy pics won't help you id anyone. But as a warning I think a few good dogs are always on and working even if the power goes out. Jmo. The technology is ever evolving.

    OK. I give up.

What is an "SSS law", and what states, besides Idaho, have them?

I was thinking the same thing. Bet Glens got a tractor that digs a nice hole too.
