So the first 50-60 pounds was diet only, if you want to call it diet, more like meal choice, don’t count calories of even portions, only took out the carbs, body didn’t have anything else to burn other than fat. My cholesterol went to normal even, I was worried because of the meat and eggs and dairy. It didn’t, it went down.. now that the knees are done I add in the exercise which is a great weight loss plan too, but more so it builds muscle which burns more fat, so I’m getting a double whammy now, but it wasn’t exercise for the healthy weight loss cured. This ain’t for every one, but sugar just wasn’t good for me.
Mike I’ll give you an example of my typical day
Breakfast- 3 eggs, 4-5 pieces bacon or sausage, avocado, hunk of cheese
Lunch— 2-3 slices of some kind of meat, bologna is my fav, couple hunks of cheese, some bell pepper or broccoli, pickles, olives, maybe some cottage cheese,
Dinner, what can I say, ribeyes 2” thick, fat assed hamburgers or any one of the many pork shoulders or ribs , some green beans, olive salad,
Just watch portions on veggies and carbs, most veg shave carbs, but fiber offsets some of it.
All told most days never get over 30 grams of carbs and I have ate plenty, no sodas, no sweet tea, lots of water
