Thanked: 13250
Tell us all you didn't read the article on how the law was twisted to attack only TRUMP, without saying you don't care it is just "But Trump" for you
That is the basis of the appeal, but you don't care to read it it is simple for the simple mind "But TRUMP !!!!"
Again you should probably care more about your country than mine, BUT TRUMP !!!!

Thanked: 13250Actually on Topic (Bob) Guess it really is America first, maybe Canada can help them out or the rest of the EU and NATO
https://nypost.com/2025/06/08/world-...oops-zelensky/
In case you guys don't read it as usual this might be the most salient point
Zelensky maintains that sanctions from the US will hurt Moscow the hardest as he backed a proposal from Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) to slap 500% tariffs on any nation that buys Russian energy products.
Awaiting the "But Trump" outcryLast edited by gssixgun; 06-09-2025 at 06:17 PM.

Thanked: 133You’re saying the law was “twisted” to charge Trump—but the facts are he was convicted on 34 felony counts and still got no prison time, no fines, and no probation.
So I will ask again, should someone convicted of 34 felonies be held accountable the same as anyone else—or should powerful people get different outcomes?

The fact is, we live in a country with two distinct justice systems. There is one for probably 90% of the population and another for the other group where the legal system can be tied up for years and years and some legal maneuver makes it all go away. The Trump family are masters at this and have been using this for decades.
As to Glen's list of "Facts", whose facts are those??? Just false news. Many of those when closely examined will educate you as to how 1+2 doesn't equal 3 as it may seem.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

No, you explained it perfectly, is what I said
You: "So then we can agree, Trump is not going to be affected by the law in the same way as a normal American"
I simply agreed with you, did it confuse you, or did you get trapped in your own word salad and are trying to Kamala your way out ???"No amount of money spent on a Stone can ever replace the value of the time it takes learning to use it properly"

Thanked: 133No confusion here. I'm glad we agree that Trump isn't being treated like a normal citizen under the law. The real question, which you still haven’t answered directly, is whether you support that double standard. If someone else like a regular citizen committed 34 felonies involving fraud and falsified records to influence an election, should they also avoid jail time? Or are we okay with two tiers of justice. One for the powerful, and one for everyone else?
I'm not interested in mockery or word games. I'm asking a simple, principle-based question. Do you believe in equal justice under the law, or not?

Thanked: 13250No, you are not You framed the question with YOUR narrative and not what you nor I said
Again trying to play word smithing to prove your inane point
Trump WAS / IS not being treated as a Normal Citizen = TRUTH
But you don't recognize that as a truth from the beginning, you only want to recognize part of it
ie: Since it is obvious this went over your head and confused you, or like I said, you are trying to frame the narrative
Do you believe that Trump was charged because of who he was IN THE FIRST place??
In case you missed it, this is EXACTLY what James and Bragg said they were going to do, remember??
So YES, Trump was treated differently from the beginning with the questionable charges to the end with the only sentence possible... DO YOU AGREE???
Await your Word Salad dodge
Again you are just not very good at this, I warned you all when you went so far off topic. This is to easy
ps: It is noted that not one of you acknowledged when I went back on Topic, you just continued to bash TRUMP !!! Waaaaaaa Trump hurt your feelers huh ???
Pretty much tells us all that Ukraine was always just a political money machine, to the LeftLast edited by gssixgun; 06-10-2025 at 10:54 PM.

Word salad indeed. "Questionable charges" eh???
I know you can indict a ham sandwich in a grand jury but this guy was convicted by a jury of his peers. If the charges were bogus or "questionable" the jury would have rejected the whole deal but they didn't. That's the crux you just don't accept. It's always the same TDS lame charge when someone says anything negative about him.
Like I said, Truth derangement syndrome. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero
