Back to work
Its was a long time, 6 1/2 months, but Ive been back to work for 1 1/2 weeks now. What Ive found is my hands are weak. My wrists get very sore at the end of the day. I didn't realize how much strength I lost from not working.
My shoulder is holding up but I have to go easy on it as it gets sore too after the first load kf the day. All in all Im happy I had the surgeries done. I can move without a lot of pain and sleep is much better.
Getting old is not for wussies!

Glad to hear you're getting back to normal activities Jerry. Being incapacitated sucks.
-
Congratulations. Glad to hear you are back to work. Hang in there, the strength will come back the more you work. The pain will lessen as muscles get stronger. We will keep praying for full recovery.

Like my pappy used to say "Getting old is no fun".
Just ease into it Jerry and don't overdo it. Getting laid up again is to be avoided.
-
I had much the same thing and can say your strength will come back, Jerry.
I have surprised myself of late. Slow and easy. Have thought of ways to save myself and not waste physical stress needlessly.
Pays-off!

Congrats on finally getting back to work Jerry.
Remember, slow and steady wins the recovery race.
Be careful...
And yes, getting old does suck!

Glad you are back in the drivers seat Jerry. Too much time on your hands is never good.
-
Good on ya Jerry. Can't keep a good man down, even an old one :p
-
Glad you’re back on the saddle and earning a living again, mate.

I went over the income i got from short term and long term disability. Averaged it out although the long term was minimal and short term is decent. Averaged 700 a week. Enough to cover the bills. Im sure glad i signed up for that stuff.
I will recover and be better off in the end. I did manage to hone a razor so thats a bonus!
