Watching Netflix series. "Black sails"
A prelude to our independence from England, as from what I'm getting from it.
Arrrr, but we have pirates, n rum. Cannons, polititians and the such.
Shogun.
I was curious about how it would compare to the original with Richard Chamberlain. Haven’t made up my mind about that yet.
Outback’s closing remarks apply to this series as well. Substitute saki for rum :tameshigiri:
Arggggg! Killin', cheatin', and drinkin'! Worlds oldest plot! :jedi: :tameshigiri:
Black Sails was well worth the watch
Getting ready to start Shogun
Trying out Netflix 3 Body Problem, on E2 right now, hasn't caught me YET
Just finished up Warrior which I am disappointed it was only 3 seasons :(
Another good one watched recently from Amazon.....Peterloo.
My blood was boiling at the end, at how similar things are today, from then.
Just watched Nobody with Bob Odenkirk. It was a fun shoot 'em up whoopass movie and a little change of character for him. Definitely worth a watch but Definitely not a "date movie" (aka chick flick)
Just watched The Last Voyage of the Demeter. Bit of a departure from Stoker's book. Disappointing.
2 eps into Shogun. Quite bingeable.
O.T. but I'm playing Ghost of Tsushima on PS5. The closest thing I do to martial arts these days :p
That's why I don't watch the movie of books I've read.
I remember learning that as a kid, especially if Disney produces it. They hold no story sacred.
I don't watch many long movies. I like old movies, but don't sit still for long.
It took me 2 weeks to watch Metropolis, but was glad I did.
Been on a Goodwood racing jag. Saw this to-day.
This one is great. 100+ year old racers. Amazing!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c26B...dRoad%26Racing
Disney has ruined many a good book. They always think they are smarter than the author.
Yeah Dave. Jungle book was my defining moment as a kid.
So don't ask how I arrived at this. Pretty unusual for me.

Checking out a drone video of what is happening in my area of Houston with all the storm debris from our recent 'Derecho'.
Huge doubles with claws come in from out of state and make a fortune. Each truck is accompanied by a tracked vehicle and a logistics crew. They can back them up down a cul-de sac like it's nothing.
Location is a big property with an old rice drier from back in the day when this was rice fields.
Several other locations in town. All will be shredded and used.

I've got the train wreck syndrome watching "As The Election Turns." Getting good and disgusted with it though.
It's all unbelievable and absurd to me.
Funny video. Grandpa bought the kid a dirt bike. Gotta turn on the sound. Look at their faces! :roflmao

Gold !!!!!!!:rofl2:
:roflmao. Same look my parents had as they watched me skipping across the lake in a 8 foot Jon boat, with a 10 HP outboard strapped on the transom.
It's become thing these days, from what I see on the web.
This is satisfying to watch. 11 times now! Hit sound on top right of screen. I laugh right along :rofl2:
