This is a strange one - but no point in stating all the straightforward ones that I would have. I would like a small breeding group of Corallus annulatus, the annulated tree boa from central america. Around eight years ago I had a group of five captive bred CITES certificated babies ready to come from a guy in Florida. Now these are rare in the wild and just so in captivity - $2000 a baby. I had bred others in the family - a difficult group to keep and breed. I was ready for the challenge. Life got in the way, I had to cancel and gave the guy a fair whack of deposit for essentially wasting his time - CITES paperwork takes time and effort for appendix 1 animals. He was decent about it. So I would have two male and three female captive bred annulatus to pamper, grow on and breed. However - life would still get in the way right now - too much change on the horizon. It will keep for a settled patch not too far away I hope.
Not sure if these could be called luxury items but working with them is relaxing and exciting and they are living jewels - but I don't really need them!
