So, I was just wondering. Is it just me, or does anyone else think that their friends and loved ones are well, well sick of hearing about straight razors and all the interesting things they saw, read or heard in regards to razors? ;)

I don't give them a chance to say anything.
well I blame my wife for getting me interested in straights to begin with! I used to be very lax about shaving, only doing so when it became unbearable for her. Then one christmas as a joke she bought me a book about shaving and since then i've been hooked.
But yes everyone else thinks i'm a nutter as soon as I tell them that I use a straight razor.... ";"
Yeah, most people think that I am nuts, but the wife likes the idea and I love it.
I do think that others tire of hearing about it, but maybe I will influence them to the switch the dark and mysterious side of shaving.
HAHAHAHA Ummmmmm yeah just about everyone is sick of hearing about it, except you guys :D
*laughs* Good policy, Ken.
I'm personally hoping that after a while, my talking about razors will fade in with the rest of my rambling and babbling about things that interest me, you know, just for a bit more variety in my ramblings.
Did it work that way for anyone else, or is razor talk still pretty front and center for you?
Who knows, maybe my friends think it makes for a nice break from my normal rambling about cars, tobacco, tobacco pipes and history. :P
Depends on how drunk I am.
Well, I certainly see I'm not the only one with this trouble. ;)
My wife and friends aren't tired of hearing about razors and such; I don't talk about such things. I keep my mouth shut and take care of business. I see no reason to flap my jaws about shaving any more than I do about any other aspect of personal hygiene.
Ken.
Feeling crusty and tight lipped.:w
