After I removed Robert's natural camoflage I found it artistically respectful to restore some degree of woodland camoflage to signify this was at one time a living, stealthy carnivore.
How can you acknowldge that Robert's skull resembles a tiger (or any other big cat for that matter) and refute the possibility of his being a bobcat, especially when we know we have bobcats in the forest just beyond the pond where he was found?
I can't imagine the head wound being caused by a car and he could have made it fifty yards to die in the shallows at the edge of a pond when his natural instinct would have been to get back into the forest.
At 9:00 this morning I brought Basil and Robert into Basil's doctor's office. The doc was impressed with Basil's health and good spirits. The vet also thought Robert's paint job was "wonderful" and he wants to display Robert in his office. Most important, the doctor took a long look at Robert and believes he is more canine than feline. The size of the cranium, the size of the teeth and the outstanding condition of the teeth leads him to guess that Robert was likely a juvenile fox.
I may make mistakes now and then but I do not intentionally perpetrate fraud. My life is interesting enough in reality.

Thats all well and good, but what about the moose! He's real isnt he?;)
Nun2sharp, the moose is real. I almost crapped my pants when i saw it....
Oh, thank god, I almost thought that it was BS too! Thanks!:y
Hey! I'm joking already!
I'm on your side, loved the story, its sad but there arent too many good storytellers anymore and with all the BS that flies around these days some people cant tell the difference. God Bless you, thanks for the story.
I am joking too! I love telling stories. In fact, I have a few I can share> Let's give it a whirl.
Its been so long since I've practiced the art(other than on kids and grandkids) I wouldnt know where to start. But go ahead I love a good one! thanks
alright dude
I tried to be gentle
these first 3 are pics of a bobcat skull
the eyes are bigger, lots bigger, the teeth are smaller, the upper canines attach in a different spot and manner
num 4 is a red fox
skull is more elongated, teeth are wrong, eyes are wrong, your vet is wrong
num 5 is a wolverine, looks like a decent match right?
they are quite fond of eating birds and stealing eggs
num 6 is a tiger
it is not a bobcat, a juvenile fox is shaped the same as a mature fox
I find it quite hard to believe that people here have the time to make comments about some guys moose, and OBTW you are wrong GW, but no one has spent 2 mins on Google image to look at what a bobcat skull looks like.
as for the car, welll, stuff gets dumb when it's hit in the head real hard
and BTW, spray paint is not artistically respectful
