This is the tougher of the two (3) for me. JMS good choice on Cicero! but I don't think he makes it for me.
1.) Atticus Finch (sorry wirebeard, but it's a great pick that I hadn't thought of until you mentioned it.)
2.) Peter Pan.
3.) Lancelot from the once and future king.
I can only think of one at the moment and he would be ....

Fridtjof Nansen, because he was the man, plain and simple. He had it all -- self-reliance, brilliance, self-sacrifice, humanity, the spirit of adventure.
Don't take my word for it. If you're not familiar with Nansen, look him up. His life will blow your mind.

3) Isaac Asimov. I disagree with the guy on a lot, but he made it his business to know as much as he could about a plethora of topics. His dedication to information and knowing things is astounding. Not to mention he wass a great writer that wrote on more topics than anyone else.
You know this post will come back to haunt you if you ever run for office. Hitler was able to achieve what he did partly by playing to the weaknesses, prejudices and fears of his people. If you can become a leader without stooping to that you'll be worth your salt.Quote:
