Japanese movie, originally released in 1976, remade in 2006 by the same director featuring the same lead actor. It was the director's last film, made when he was 90 years old.
"Inugamike no ichizoku". I suppose I am not as well versed in Japanese film as I would like to believe (much to my chagrin, I am not familiar with it). :( Well, I believe I will add this lovely couple to my 'to-see' list.
