Alright, here it is! I took my wife to see this movie when she wasn't even my girlfriend yet! Scared her so bad she almost broke my hand holding it so hard!
looks like tim robbins to me...
It is, and Jeff Bridges in Arlington Road if I'm not mistaken. Awesome film! Anyone who likes a good drama and has not seen it really should run out and rent it. The performances are great and the script is amazing.

Good movie and dare I say, still applicable to the current “war on terror”. the movie opens up with a lecture about how the powers that be are so quick to bring terrorists to justice, but never seem to learn or understand the underlying causes, motives and means of these horrible crimes. From an entertainment point of view, the script, acting, story and plot are all well done. Good movie on all levels-
Is it Blood Simple?
