The reputation thing has got to be fixed so that a negative reputation can be established. Some people are just begging for it. No one here of course!

BTW, on a separate pointless topic, I love the username of one of our new members--"Stubble!" With over 6000 members it's funny how so many people can still come up with absolutely brilliant original usernames. I don't know if he is still posting but Death came into our midst a month or two ago. I'm still amused after a long time that Ockham showed up. There should be a thread just listing nominations for the most creative shaving-topical usernames. Maybe I'll start one if I get around to it.

Getting people just to add reputation because somebody wants it kind of defeats the reason for having it. That's not reputation, that's a popularity contest.
Please don't do that.

I can't say I was the asking party for the reputation system, but now that it's here, I'd rather have it work the way it is supposed to.
