In Memoriam
Here's one to Larry William Bailey, a large, funny guy from St. Mary's Georgia. He was KIA on Oct 22, 1966, on a nameless river in Vietnam when our extraction team's boat was hit by a remote-controlled mine. I tried my best to save him, but I was messed-up too, and could not. I did lead a patrol the next day and found his body.
You made it home, my brother, you made it home.
It has been said that a man is never truly dead unless he is forgotten. Beetle, as long as I am still alive, you will never be forgotten!
SwampRats! No mission too difficult, no sacrifice too great, Duty First!

God bless you both!
You and those like you are the reason we are the most free nation on earth.
