On Hit Wonders!!
I think this might be a fun thread. There are many many hit songs from groups that never did anything else. Some of these are amoung the greatest tunes ever recorded and if not for this single, the band would have been completely unkown. I can rattle off probably fifty but I will start with this one because the sister of my old buddy Buddy was doin' the drummer when this song hit the charts (and didn't she think she was Miss Thing). Both the members of Tom Tom Club were in Talking Heads, so technically they had many more hits, just not as Tom Tom Club.
