I'm sorry, but we haven't actually established the credibility of Mr. Thomas. He doesn't seem to come up in Google in any way except in association with conspiracy theory websites, most of which have less than zero credibility.

Actually, whether or not Mr. Thomas is respected or not has nothing to do with the truth of his claims. I don't think that reading his books would establish how respected he is, as that is an entirely subjective judgment based only on the opinions of others. You clearly respect him, but that, in and of itself, is no indication of how good an investigative journalist he is.
The fact is, however, that Thomas has a clear commercial interest in this conspiracy theory, as it seems to be his bread and butter. He makes a living selling books to people like you.

Well, this is a huge mistake on your part. I am very open minded, and I don't trust the government further than I can throw it. If you had some evidence, I would certainly consider it. The problem seems to be that you don't know what evidence is (we'll see that later in this post, just hang on). You and other conspiracy theorists confuse conjecture, unsubstantiated claims and third-hand anecdotes with fact.

Well, first, no one here has flamed you, and secondly, how closed minded can you possibly be? I am willing to actually look at objective evidence, but you state right here that you refuse to change your mind on the issue. Again, I ask, what evidence do you have that these are not ordinary contrails, and why do you refuse to share it?

Okay, here is a perfect example of something that is not evidence. You are making a claim that you flat out refuse to back up. Put yourself in my shoes. How would you like it if I said that I had a friend with a magical monkey who could print twenty doller bills from his a$$, but that I won't show you any evidence, or even tell you my friends name? I'm pretty sure you don't actually know how contrails are formed. I think you should look it up. The physics is pretty simple, and I don't need to be in the avation industry to understand it.
I think that these guys aren't really pilots. Do you actually know for a fact that they are commercial pilots? Have you actually seen any sort of credentials? I've known people to lie about being commercial pilots and fighter pilots. Have you seen these guys at work? I know a pilot for UPS. Next time I see him, I'll ask him about this topic. If what he says is counter to what you claim, will you believe me? Or will you claim that he's not really a pilot, or that I don't know any such person, or that I'm lying about his answer, or that he's part of the conspiracy?

The sad thing is that the government has intentionally released pathogens into the atmosphere, just to study the effectivness of germ warfare delivery systems. Someone actually died from the pathogen too, as I remember. I don't know all of the details, but it was a really ugly bit of news about an ugly government. It got picked up by the major news organizations too. One wonders why this story hasn't been picked up. Oh, I know, because there's no evidence.
Seriously, I am perfectly willing to look at hard evidence, just as soon as you get some.
