Lost in transit
After a recent trip to a wedding up in Fort William, Scotland I returned back down today to my home on Bute. The route we took was around 167 miles. In this journey I used a car, I went on foot, I took two buses, a taxi and a ferry. Somewhere in this journey I lost a very important washbag.
It contained:
A full block of alum.
A 'Best Badger Hair' brush imported from Japan- my ONLY non-synthetic brush
and WORST of all-
My VERY FIRST straight razor and the main one I use. A Dovo 'Black Star' in red pukkawood scales. This was a present from my wife and probably my most precious razor.
So if anyone finds it in their travels around Scotland, please help me out? :(

Sorry to hear the very bad news  but will keep fingers crossed that someone has handed them into lost property and you get them back :gl:

Aw crap Sidney, that sucks!
-
that's a bummer, but it only costs money to replace it with another one.
i'd opt for making a new great memory out of it and getting your wife to buy you a custom as a replacement :)
that should make it at least bitter-sweet, if not sweet-n-low :)

I fully agree that you should try to make lemonade with this
just start leaving pictures of what you really want around the house
like one taped to the bathroom mirror :roflmao
