I'm thinking a galil with roll off night vision scope and red dot, with meter'd peeps.
Several loaded magazines, and a browning high power or FiveSeven handgun.
MREs and drinking water, 4 inch pipe claymores, Semi with a trailer full of diesel.
Sad thing is, I actually have all this.
Except the claymores, but those are pretty simple to make.
Match heads, 4 inch threaded pipes 8 inches long, and a handful of ball bearings.
Interchangeably with liberal apocalypse.

Any shrapnel producing explosive would have an extremely minimal effect, as unless some shards happen to go through their heads all you will accomplish is knocking them down for a moment. Maybe their legs come off, then you get to watch out for the damnable things crawling out from under everything as they continue to claw their way toward you.
As for the women with PMT.....I'll take my chances with the Zeds. Some monsters just shouldn't be messed with.
