I don't see how opposing Israel's treatment of the Palestinians is equivalent to anti-semitism.

But don't be too hard on Rush. I suppose if your a right wing talk show host you need to keep spewing anti-Obama stuff while the mic is on. You're bound to say a few stupid things every minute or so.

Oh, it's certainly possible to be more hypocritical...just give him time.

It shouldn't surprise us as much when it comes from a political entertainer than when it does from the media or elected officials :(

Well, I can see your point, but at the same time this "political entertainer" has a very large part of the Republican party in his pocket. I mean, the party chairman was forced into a public apology for saying exactly what you said...there is some real swing there.

It's not that far fetched to say that Rush is the public face of the Republican party; even if you, as a member of the party, don't think so. He does. So things like "I want Obama to fail" coming from Rush sound like they're coming from the party, and that's the way I think he likes it.

You're right Jim. And his opinions represent and probably form the opinions of a whole bunch of voters - I don't discount that he's influential

Didnt the actual "Leader" apologize for rush for saying he was not the leader.

Well, if Rush was voted as the leader, then he was the actual leader. If Rush apologized for saying he was not the leader when he really was, then perhaps the initial question in this thread can be answered with a resounding yes!
