Fantabulous! Good luck.
Congrats and good luck! Keep us abreast of the feedback you get in your classes. If you are teaching the teachers you should be getting some interesting comments on what you teach and what they already know. That would make for some very interesting reading here on SRP. :gl:
I imagine this will be really interesting subject matter to teach in a classroom setting. You will need to figure out how to get around the miss information provided by Poctor and Gamble at the begining of your ciriculum.
Sounds awesome and congrats! Have you shaved many people besides yourself?
They still have barber college! Now, that be worth going to. Can you teach a correspondance course? Now days all colleges offer correpondance courses. There is more to shaving than just shaving your face. Shaving, honeing, stropping, restoration, repairs, lathering, so on and so on. Enjoy your classes. I wish I could have been a student. Juan.
This is a class I would happily sign up for. I have to do an activity for my school's open day later in the year. I was thinking of opening a babershop for the day with my clients being faces drawn on balloons. In another life, if I wasn't a teacher I would want to be a baber.
I have not shaved anyone else. The laws on Oregon are very strict about that and fines are heavy.
I have done balloons and my wife's legs. BTW to learn about pressure you should really shave someone else. The razor doesn't move with excess pressure. It is a strange thing.
So I have two questions then. 1 - Here is my syllabus that I will be teaching, and 2 - What should I charge for a 6 - 8 hour class. Bear in mind that the college does not teach Pathogen protection or what do in case of cut or nick so I would have to cover that.
