Out of interest...what's everyones profession? I'll get the ball rolling - im a civil engineer.

I work with CAD and play with blueprints

I also moved the thread to the conversation forum out of the shaving area. I guess if someone is a barber, we can move it back :D

I am a corporate controller who somehow fell into the world of accountancy via my engineering degree. :)

I'm a field network technician. If the cable goes out (or there's other problems), I fix it.

I work in a Network Operations Center (NOC) with an attached Teleport.
I do a multitude of things for my company. Too many to list.

Professional tattooer.

I work in hell. I have a fan on my desk. Sometimes the green team unplugs it and leaves me a nasty gram.

I'm a translator. I read technical documents in Italian and then I tell English-speaking people what they say.

If you do not mind me asking, how did you get into that business?

My fiance speaks/writes taiwanese/mandarin/english fluently w/ a background in information security and has thought about doing translation work.
