I'm not a big fan of guys with makeup, and I've never worn it unless I was on stage. That being said, at least he's doing it right. Regardless of gender, I can't stand when I see somebody caked up with makeup. Makeup should enhance or adjust, not re-paint.

My girlfriend is a perfect example. She usually wears makeup, but "just enough" to get the job done, and if she's really well rested and feeling good, she wears almost none because she doesn't need it.

I think makeup, just like anything else people can wear, can be done well by some, pulled off my some, and look terrible on others. Perhaps in our society, makeup is considered for women, but that has to be taken in the context of our culture and marked as a fashion that is in effect now (but has not always been and might not be in the future).

I think that if a person can "pull off" an appearance, let them do it. I would also consider the fact that you weren't able to say outright "that man is wearing makeup" a sign that it works for him.

Would I personally wear makeup? I don't think so. But, then again, I've done things I never thought I would before.

I know a couple of women who seem to have more make up on their face than in their handbag, it's really not a good look.

My ex (ish) wears very little make up, and quite often none at all.

Same here. Can't have it wearing off on clothes, cats etc.
A concealer stick is really a useful thing on not so perfect days though.

One of the positive aspects of peeing while sitting is it frees up one's hands for applying make-up - providing one has a mirror at the right height on the wall opposite the porcelain chair.

The modern shave den does seem require a multitude of appurtenances, doesn't it? :rofl2:

I wouldn't do it, but to each their own.

But seriously....I wouldn't do it except for on stage in acting or on TV. On the other hand....if you're comfortable with it. Why not.

I'm not comfortable wearing a kilt in my spare time. But I also think more power to them that likes it.
