Always thought you used a special cigar match? (usually a lot longer than normal matches)
when he said "what you wanna do"....i kinda thought "nah mate, i dont wanna do" and lost interest fast.....what a load of crapola...you would have to be so full of yourself to get one of them......or maybe you could buy it for someone who is full of themselves....they would love it!!
So first you take off the paper band, then you put on the leather, then you smoke for a while, and take it off again before you're done smoking to prevent it from getting damaged.
And the point is ... ?
This is truly a completely useless item, designed only to cost money, for the purpose of being able to indicate to other people that you are so wealthy that you can spend money on items that are completely useless. Or rather, you are the person who wants other people to know or at least think you are that wealthy.
A cigar should be lit with a piece of cedar wood and not with a lighter IMHO. Just goes to show that Davidoff only wants to sell useless items to people who do not know how to smoke cigars properly. One more reason to shun Davidoff.
Ever seen a Cohiba cigar ring?
I am totally buying twelve of these. One for each finger and TWO for each MIDDLE finger.
That way every one will know how cool I am whilst I simultaneously show how I feel about them.

I am pretty sure there is intelligent life in the universe. I am also pretty sure why they aren't talking to us yet.

I have used cedar, and long matches that I let burn off a bit to not impart their taste. Mostly, though, a very clean burning torch lighter (usually a dupont) if outside, or a soft flame lighter inside. Never, ever, a zippo.
I enjoy some davidoffs, the robusto intenso was nice, and I smoked a very large, very old cigar a few months ago...I actually dont' know what it was, perhaps in Double Robusto size, it was wonderful, but probably had a decade of age on it. I also recently finished my last 1982 No 2's. They were delicious, though very light and mild. They had been in the same humidor in London since they were exported, and I bought them in perhaps 2005. Of course, those are not the Davidoffs being discussed here.
As for Cohiba...my favorites. My last box of 2006 Siglo 4's was opened last month. I should have bought more, as I feel that they are the best of the recent offerings of that size. I will have to force myself to save them for times I can really savor them.
My, My, My! It is a good thing that particular band is on the smallish side because one could accidentally pick up the wrong one.....if the lighting was poor!:rofl2:

Hey now. It looks like this thread has pretty much run its course. It was started about Davidoff cigar bands.
Looks like it may be the Davidoff store in the Palazzo in Vegas. The only place I can think of where that might sell is Vegas after a winning night and WAY too many scotches at the tables. OK that puts the thread back on track.
BO is a tool IMO but you gotta love the poster! :-)
