I think I'd rather be creepy...

i am 26 and it seems like this is the age i have been since i was 10 (maturity wise). i have always been the commun sense guy that my friends ask for advice and that never does anything stupid because i already knew better (what fun is that right). it just seems like all my friends are finally on the same page as i have been for a while. i could be wrong though as it's all about the eyes you are seeing it through. ( BTW i haven't gotten the "excuse me sir" yet :)).

also, weird thing for me was that when i turned 19 and started going to the bars, i didn't get asked for ID even once until i was 24 and now i get it all the time. everyone thought i was 25 when i was 19, now i everyone thinks i am 20-21. strange but true.

I actually look much younger than I am so I have been lucky and not had anyone call me sir yet. In my current fragile state after last night's experience, if someone calls me sir I may punch them, and by punch I mean scowl at them then go home and quietly cry in the corner. :p

AS long as in your mind you realized they are underage you are ok. This is human psychology. Everyone has their time and it will go away very fast in Normal person. In abnormal ones there is a big problem

I am only 25 and this thing that made me realize that I might be a grown up man: When I look at girls it goes like this:

1: do I like what I see? Yes-move on to next step, No-stop it right here
2: does she have a ring on her finger? Yes-stop it here, No-move on to the next step
3: is she too young? Yes-stop it here, No-move on to the next step
4: talk to her, is she smart and fun? Yes move on to the next step, No stop it here
5: get to know her better

I remember when I was 18 I dropped something and a guy about 16 chased after me yelling SIR you dropped something, when I realized it was me he was talking to I felt like he had punched me in the gut (I think I would have preferred if he had)

It doesn't have to be an OR, you actually can be creepy AND old...

I'm 19 and I can't remember the last time some one under estimated my age. The oldest so far is 27, ah well. My girlfriends mum, and my girlfriend in fact, call me an old man because I drink whiskey!

meh, doesn't bother me to be honest. I've got a lot of friends in their 30s-40s through bikes and they generally have the same attitude to life as I do now, so, why worry!

Personally, I'd rather see high schoolers as little kids. I'm only 23, and when I was student teaching in high school I had to keep my eyes where they were supposed to be. It takes a while to get over the instinct to look, and when it's your job you want to get over that instinct as fast as possible. Better that I didn't have that instinct in the first place.
