You know what's a fun woods game for little kids? Pine sap boat races!
You need sticks, a coniferous tree (White pin is the best) and a small body of water, like a creek or pond.
Dip one end of the stick in pine sap and on the count of three put the sticks in the water. The sap is like a "motor" in the water and pushes the stick forward.
I don't know... It was fun when I was a kid. Once I discovered fire that changed, though.

I wouldnt take survival advice from a man who can't sharpen his own dang knife -.- seriously.
-
I dunno Brad, God forbid if the SHTF, if this guy was anywhere near me I would have to kill him just to get him out of the way. As mentioned before, buy a lighter, thousands of fires in each one for a buck. Flint, steel and fuel in a neat little package. I wouldn't mind putting my Kbar against whatever that piece of crap he had.

Most of that was funny. But the bad advice about snake bite treatment is down right dangerous. Some idiot will get bitten and try that.
-
This guy sucks.
He can't start a fire even with a mag block. You can see it die.
Give me only a knife and I'll survive way longer than this guy.

Note to self: avoid Spinelli.

Yeah, it doesn't work at all. My father said he used to carry one of those kits in college when he and a buddy scouted cotton. Now he admits it was a very dumb idea, but nobody knew better.

In D.C. we view an expert as someone from out of town carrying a briefcase. :)

Maybe this was something for the kids to wonder. I hope that dude doesn't take himself too seriously. I think he wouldn't survive for long, at least here, with his 'skills' and 'gear' :rofl2:

That gadget he had will do more to damage a knife blade than sharpen it. I would like to make him shave with it if he thinks it is so sharp. Someone should show him what a rock is. Then maybe he could get an edge on that crappy knife. ----Nah
