Starship troopers. There are many others but that's the first that comes to mind.
The best stupid funny movie that no one has ever heard of: Brain Donors (1992)
Evil Dead 2 (precurser to Army of Darkness)
The Right Stuff
probably my All Time Favorite "Road Racers"
Aliens just for Hudson's lines alone
UHF
Just a few off the top of my head:
Bring me the Head of Alfredo Garceia Warrn Oates
Ride the Pink Horse with Robert Montgomery
The Wild Seed - 1965 with Michael Parks of Then Came Bronson
The Girl Hunter in which Mickey Spiliane plays Mike Hammer
Paths of Glory with Kirk Douglas - possibly the best war movie ever made
Behold a Pale Horse with Gregory Peck - Post Spannish Civil War Drama
One Eyed Jacks - Brando's Ultimate offbeat western
Army of Shadows - Best movie of the French Resistance in WW2
Assination Tango - Robert Duvall
Ranco Notorious - Lily Marlene runs a hole in the wall hideout for outlaws
Pete Kelly's Blues - Little Know movie about musicians in the roaring 20's with Jack Webb and Lee Marvin and featuring Peggy Lee. Webb shows what he can do with a Boston Three Star Cornet.
Angela - Hard to find little arty movie starring Dennis O'keefe and Marla Lane, Marla was the sister of Joyslyn Lane who played in several of the Elvis movies. They were sisters who came to the US from Austria and were two of the most beautiful women i ever saw on the screen. Movie ain't bad either.
Thunder Road - Robert Mitchum's most personal movie. Whiskey Haulers transport loads of moonshine whiskey through the hills at night in old fords with racing engines under the hoods, trying to outrun the law and avoid being taken over by the dixie mafia types. Keely Smith provides the romantic interest and her version of the song, "The Whip poor Will is beautiful. Must viewing for all sons of the south.
Here are two I think are underrated
1. Big Night 1996
2. Glengarry Glen Ross 1992
I forgot to add "Big Trouble in Little China." Pretty stupid overall, but Kurt Russell's character makes the movie.
Grosse Point Blank
